I will state one minor detail about Dryads...each dryad had a specific "home tree" if you will. And while not necessarily immortal in the truest sense of the word, a Dryad would live as long as her tree did. If it was cut down, burned to ash, or died of old age, the dryad would die along with it. Depending on who you ask, Dryads really weren't able to go very far from their home trees or they would become weak and ill, and would die within two weeks of leaving the tree. That being said, I myself was never one for the whole limited range thing.
