I totally suck! Yes yes, I do. I've been here since the room was born 20 gajillion years ago and have had some great times here. For the past few years my roleplay time has really been cut. I used to be here every day pretty much and because of my shitty stressful job, I can't be here as much as I want. I am trying very hard to get a better job so I am less angry and stressed all the time and so I can have the recreation time to come and have some fun online. Decent money and time is all I need folks! I've seriously neglected this room and I sincerely apologize especially to Ryan.
So to show I am still here and not just not showing up, I made a new character as I can't be Callisto all the time - it ruins her mystique *lmfao...laaaame* Ariadne's avi is already made, I just need to decide if she will be a plain mortal or one with a special power or two. You could suggest something!
So once again I'm sorry. I really feel bad. I haven't forgotten the fun and hard work put into the room.

*pouncetackles da Xammy* Hey you, long time no see. You take care of you, rt always comes first *noddles lots* Good to see you back, hun. By the way, I believe in Greek Myth, Ariadne was some sort of massive friggin spider queen type creature, but I could be wrong, so don't quote me. I'll see what I can find.

Scratch that. Ariadne was apparently a Greater Demi-God. Her father was King Minos of Crete and her mother was Pasiphaƫ, the daughter of Helios, the Sun-Titan. She aided Theseus in overcoming the Minotaur (actually her half-brother) but was equally the bride of the god Dionysus(or Bacchus). (Makes things interesting. That would place Ariadne as Herc's half-sister because the minotaur was his half-brother, meaning Zeus at some point had been with Pasiphaƫ. She was already married to Dionysus/Bacchus when she eloped with Theseus). With Dionysus/Bacchus, she was the mother of Oenopion, the personification of wine, Staphylus (related to grapes), Latramys and Tauropolus. Her wedding diadem was set in the heavens as the constellation Corona. (Ok, I found the confusing part. Both Ariadne and Arachne were effectively Weaving Goddesses, though Arachne was a Spider). She remained faithful to Dionysus/Bacchus, but was later killed by Perseus at Argos. Dionysus/Bacchus descended into the Underworld and brought Ariadne and his mother Semele back, and they joined the gods on Olympus.
